A great prize for Education
A few hours ago, TED has given of the hand of Ken Robinson, their TED Prize 2013 (along with a million dollars) to Sugata Mitra for their efforts in creating places where children can educate themselves on what he call “School on the cloud”.
In this video Mitra presented his project “Hole in the Wall”, where he gave kids self-supervised access to the web and saw results that could revolutionize how we think about teaching.
In this blog we give our most sincere congratulations to Sugata Mitra for this well-deserved award.
