TED: The economic case for preschool

In this TED talk, Timothy Bartik explains the macro-economic case for preschool education  and tell us why we should be happy to invest in it, even if we don’t have kids that age (or kids at all). The economic benefits of well educated kids, it turns out, go well beyond the altruistic.

Timothy Bartik nos explica en esta interesante charla cómo funciona la educación preescolar a nivel macroeconómico, dándonos argumentos de sobra para convencernos de que debemos invertir en ella. Su mensaje gira entorno a la idea de que los beneficios económicos de los niños con buena formación van mucho más allá del altruismo.

How to learn from mistakes ………..

Here, she tells us some very interesting things about how to learn, but above all, I want put some emphasis on how many times one can criticize the system, but not from the stands, or assuming arguments from others (that often pigeonhole us). She just transmits us her experiences.

Following the tradition I attached a TED talk of Diana Laufenberg about her  experience in learning.

Siguiendo la tradición TED os adjunto una charla de Diana Laufenberg sobre su experiencia en el aprendizaje. Nos cuenta cosas muy interesantes sobre cómo aprender pero sobre todo quiero hacer hincapié en cómo muchas veces se puede criticar el sistema pero no desde la tribuna o asumiendo argumentos de otros (que muchas veces nos encasillan), ella simplemente nos trasmite experiencias.
